The T3 Sports founding story

T3 Sports was founded in 2019 in Bengaluru by three passionate athletes driven by a single goal: promoting and expanding ice hockey, inline hockey, rollball and roller-skating sports across India. Recognizing the explosive growth of these disciplines — from the IHAI ice hockey leagues to the All India Rollball Federation and grass-roots inline hockey clubs in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata — we set out to make pro-grade equipment from internationally respected brands available to every Indian player. Our catalogue today covers Bauer, CCM, True, Warrior, Sherwood, Elite, Ace Sports, Sonic Sports, Fischer Hockey, Mission Elite, NAT Hockey Tapes and Howies, with new brands added each season based on what Indian players ask for.

In 2020, in response to rising customer demand and a clear gap in the Indian market, T3 Sports launched its own range of performance apparel — designed in Bengaluru, built for Indian conditions: high heat, monsoon humidity, and varied rink surfaces from synthetic ice to outdoor concrete. Today, we proudly serve customers in every Indian state and union territory, offering a complete inventory of ice and inline skates, composite and wood sticks, HECC/CSA certified helmets, protective gear, goalie equipment and team apparel.

What is rollball and what gear do I need?

Rollball is a hybrid roller-sport developed in Pune, India in 2003, combining elements of basketball, handball and roller-skating. Two teams of 6 players play 30-minute matches on quad or inline skates, passing and shooting a regulation rollball into a goal.

Essential gear: quad or inline skates, helmet, knee & elbow pads, mouthguard, and a regulation rollball. T3 Sports stocks complete starter kits and pro-tier gear for All India Rollball Federation (AIRBF) athletes.
